Atlas Copco is further expanding its business, having today (2nd Sep) completed the acquisition of Oxymat.

Based in Denmark, Oxymat specialises in on-site gas generation solutions for a wide range of industries including aquaculture, water treatment, medical, marine and mining.

The purchase of Oxymat follows a series of acquisitions carried out by Atlas Copco to both grow its expertise and customer base.

On the transaction, Vagner Rego, Business Area President of Compressor Technique at Atlas Copco, said, “Oxymat is a strong brand with a global presence in on-site nitrogen and oxygen markets.”

“Their product portfolio and knowledge in industrial gas generation makes them a good fit for us.”

Now acquire, Oxymat will become part of the Industrial Air Division within Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area.

The purchase price was not disclosed.

Atlas Copco has agreed to buy US-based cryostat manufacturer Montana Instruments Corporation for an undisclosed fee.

Atlas Copco has today (4th August) agreed to acquire the assets of Suzhou Gas System.

Atlas Copco is expanding its North American footprint, having today (29th July) acquired the operating assets of Compressed Air Products.
